Goal Setter
Use the Goal Setter to define your goals, your expected outcomes, and
the steps to get them accomplished. You should use your revenue
objectives to calculate your 1st, 2nd, and 3rd year forecasts.
Core Competencies
The purpose of this section is to gain awareness of the required skills
and competences as they relate to doing business as a real estate
agent, and how understanding and adapting these core competencies is
important to be an effective and respected real estate agent. There are
28 competencies outlined - you will be asked to rate your skill level
for each.
Job Characteristics
The purpose of this section is to become aware of the realities of the
job; to determine how your personality and experiences apply; and
access if practicing real estate fits you and your life style. We
provide information not taught in real estate school, and may be
difficult to obtain. There are 85 questions that you will be asked to
respond to.
Personal Assessment & Guide
You will be asked to total your
scores from Core Competencies, Job Characteristics and
Calculator-Forecaster - the guide presents ideal scores you can compare
yourself to.
Expense Calculator & Income Forecaster
The Calculator-Forecaster is a separate Excel file that details all the
out-of-pocket expenses you will incur your first year, and lets you
adjust accordingly to your specific requirements. You can do “what
if’s” on income you plan to earn, and get an immediate financial
status. It also calculates and displays your financial forecast for
your 1st, 2nd, and 3rd years as an agent. You will be asked to complete
your forecasts and then assess your financial risk. The Excel
calculations are comprehensive and give you a clear picture of what
your financial position will be as a real estate agent in year one, two
and three.
